데이터 과학은 대규모 데이터에서 의미 있는 통찰을 추출하는 융합 학문입니다. 본 연구실에서는 빅데이터 플랫폼 설계 및 구축, 분산 처리 시스템, 데이터 웨어하우스, OLAP(Online Analytical Processing), 데이터 마이닝 등 데이터 과학의 핵심 분야를 연구합니다.
특히 Hadoop, Spark 기반의 대규모 분산 처리 시스템과 실시간 스트림 데이터 처리 엔진 개발에 17년 이상의 연구 경험을 보유하고 있으며, 인메모리 데이터베이스 엔진 개발 경력도 갖추고 있습니다.
